The aim of the Global Equity Income Fund is to achieve long-term capital growth by predominantly investing in 50-70 Quality global equities which are expected to provide a higher than average dividend yield coupled with an ability to grow these dividends. In an uncertain world, dividends can complement or supplement income from bond holdings, act as a source of portfolio diversification and also act as a potential hedge against inflation.
The lead Fund Manager Mark Seavers (also Chief Investment Officer of Davy Asset Management) has over 20 years’ experience managing global equity funds. He is supported by an eight-strong Global Equity team which has over 120 years of combined investment experience.
The investment team utilises a robust investment process which blends a proprietary and structured quantitative model with bottom-up fundamental stock analysis. The fund invests in Quality companies that pay dividends and seek to grow those dividends over time. The result is a strategy focused on identifying stocks with the appropriate quality characteristics to deliver sustainable excess returns.
